This policy covers the LanWarp bot for Discord. The LanWarp Privacy Policy covers the rest of LanWarp.
What the bot stores
- The IDs of the Discord server, the channel and the trusted role the host chose, the name of the Discord server and the language of the messages.
- The ID of the status message, so the bot can update it.
- The host’s Discord ID, to mention them when someone asks to start the server or to join the whitelist.
- The IDs of members who press “Notify me when it opens”, to mention them when the server starts.
- The ID and Discord name of members who ask to join the whitelist, with the Minecraft name they type, until the request is approved, declined or expires after 24 hours.
- The Discord name of the member who starts or stops the server or adds someone to the whitelist from Discord, shown in the server console. Kept for 7 days.
What the bot doesn’t do
The bot doesn’t read or store chat messages. It receives only the buttons pressed and the commands typed for it.
Why
To run the bot for the host who added it (contract) and to answer the members who use it.
How long
Until the host disconnects the bot or deletes their LanWarp account. Notification requests are removed when the server opens, whitelist requests when they are answered or after 24 hours.
Who receives the data
Discord, which delivers the messages, and the providers listed in the LanWarp Privacy Policy that host our backend and database.
Removing the data
The host can press “Disconnect from Discord” in the LanWarp app, or remove the bot from the Discord server. Members can write to [CONTACT EMAIL] to have their data removed.
